Thankfully it didn’t break when it fell and hit hardwood floor.A few letters aren’t 100% illuminated at the ends, but not enough to be an issue.For the cost works as designed, but need to add larger adhesive strips to hold in place.Bought this for my studio to as a texture and an indicator to let people know whether I’m recording or streaming. It’s a great addition. Which it had remote control but regardless it’s greatNice fit on my home studio wall space and bright enough to let anyone walking through know that I'm recording. And it's fun even when not recording. I added the wireless push button remote from BN-Link so I can turn it on and off from my recording desk individually similarly to my other studio lights.Great ValueThis is not only a cute and funky décor item that will add a bright touch to any home or office but it is very functional as well. I have a few of these simulated neon signs - they’re not really neon, just a series of LED lights molded into what looks like a glass tube, which is in turn mounted to a clear piece of plastic. There is a thin inconspicuous power cord with an inline switch which end with a standard USB-B connector. Like most products from China these days they no longer include a power transformer. They say most homes have a drawer full of them, I say that most homes have all of their power transformers in use powering other gadgets and if I have to go out and buy one just to make this thing work that suddenly drops it to a zero star product - it’s worthless without a transformer.HOW DOES IT LOOKOkay let’s assume the transformer thing isn’t an issue, and yes I did happen to have a spare one laying around - otherwise I like this. I have it hanging among the souvenirs and memorabilia I collected in my years of worldwide video and photography production and visible to all who enter my home office workspace where I produce podcasts. Anyone who does podcasts, and the majority of them are done at home, knows that just when you are in the middle of something a family member will walk in and start taking to you and then say oops I didn’t know you were recording. This sign solves that, it can even be hung over the office/bedroom door (parents may choose to use it when they are, um, occupied and don’t want the kids to barge in).YES OR NOThere are countless versions of this, pages of them, based on my days of being a radio DJ and working in recording studios I happen to like this one as having just the right look - the lettering is authentic, the coloration of the words is right, the brightness is neither too bright nor too dim. And it’s well put together, not overdone and tacky. I like it.This is a fun sign to have around. I am going to put it in the background for the area that I am setting up as home office to add a little bit of fun to the background.In a well lit room the brightness leaves a little to be desired if examined up close due to unevenness of the brightness. From across the room this is less of an issue and in a room that is dimmed a bit, you can really not tell. On camera its even harder to see any unevenness and the brightness is sufficient to be seen, but not obnoxiously bright.Red looks pink not as bright like the videos!
